Evaluation & Scoring Methodology

Our esteemed panel of experts, comprising distinguished professionals from diverse fields, conducts a multi-phase evaluation process:

  • Preliminary Screening – Each nomination undergoes an initial review to verify eligibility and adherence to submission guidelines.
  • Criteria-Based Assessment – Shortlisted candidates are evaluated on key parameters, including innovation, impact, contributions, and professional achievements. Each aspect is rated on a 5-point scale (1 = Below Average, 5 = Outstanding).
  • Weighted Scoring – Scores are aggregated, with specific weightage assigned to different evaluation criteria to ensure a balanced and objective assessment.
  • Final Deliberation – The highest-scoring nominees undergo a final review by the Apex Committee, whose decision is final and binding.

Nomination Process & Award Categories

For each award category, the expert committee selects the top three nominees based on their overall performance. However, the Apex Committee retains the discretion to modify the number of honorees based on merit, ensuring that only the most deserving individuals are recognized.

Category Assignments & Modifications

  • If an individual is nominated for multiple awards, the committee determines the most suitable category for their recognition.
  • Should a nominee’s contributions better align with a different category, the committee may reassign their nomination to ensure proper classification.

Through this comprehensive evaluation process, IPRA upholds the highest standards of excellence, ensuring that every award is a genuine reflection of merit and achievement.
